I ain’t settlin’
For just gettin’ by
I’ve had enough so-so
For the rest of my life
Tired of shooting too low
So raise the bar high
I ain’t settlin’ for anything less than everything
Ain’t no rhyme or reason
No complicated meaning
Ain’t no need to over think it
Let go laughing
Life don’t go quite like you planned it
We try so hard to understand
The irrefutable, indisputable face is
It happens
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances but they’re worth taking
Loving might be a mistake but its worth making
Just go ahead and hate on me and run your mouth so everyone can hear
Hit me the worst you got, and knock me down
Baby, I don’t care
Keep it up and soon enough you’ll figure it out you wanna be
You wanna be
A loser like me
When push comes to shove you taste what you’re made of
You might bend till you break, cause it’s all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you’ve had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
And you stand
You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you more, what else matters? She’s not perfect- you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together, but if she makes you laugh, cause you to think twice and admit to being human, and making mistakes, hold on to her and giver her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you ever second of the day, but she will give you a part of her she knows you can break- her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t changer her, don’t analyze her and don’t expect her to be more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad and miss her when she’s not there
